robb has been wanting to make this recipe for the past couple of weeks now, and we finally got round to making it the other evening.
it was so tasty…a bit tangy, but then it is all the goodness that is lemon and sugar.
{if you find it is too tangy for your tastebuds just add more water at the end}
and it was all so easy to make, so i kinda just left robb to it really…bonus!
you will need: the juice of 4 lemons, 150g caster sugar, 150 ml of luke warm water and 500 ml of cold water.
method: put the sugar in the luke warm water and stir it until it’s similar to syrup. squeeeeeeeze the life out of your lemons {not a euphemism!} and add this to the sugar and water mixture. put in the fridge for a good 15 mins. we timed it well so that it was ready to have with our tea. when it’s ready to be served, add the cold water, give it a good stir and serve.
and eat your tea with your ten year old who is proud as punch with his lemoned!

{to good health}
did you know? rolling a lemon with the palm of your hand on your kitchen surface/table makes it easer to squeeze your lemons and helps them to produce more juice? nah, me neither!
