”a portrait of the bois bach, once a week, every week, in 2014”
On our way home from watching a footie match the other evening, we decided to grab ice cream’s and head to the park. We ran, laughed, climbed, got spun around…and felt quite sick for a little while afterwards. It meant getting in late and late bedtimes, but who cares, we had fun…and I just pretended not to see those grubby fingernails when I was tucking you in.
Today is Father’s Day and I asked you both what you loved most about your Dad. Here are your answers.
Robb | With a shrug of your shoulders and a big smile you said “He lets us do whatever we want and play on the ps4”
Alfie | With a big dreamy sigh, you put your face in your hands and said “I just love him”
not captured on camera: Robb’s excitement as he’s off on an activity trip with school tomorrow. Alfie’s jig he did in bed earlier when Paul told him he will get to choose his nerf gun tomorrow!

These photos are very dramatic but beautiful. Impromptu play dates in the park are the best and late bedtimes because of fun with mum are irreplaceable. They only grow up once right? You miss the good bits if your worrying about routine etc all the time x
“I just love him”… That’s so cute, made me smile :)
I’m having a hard time with the fact that they are growing up so fast our kids.
I wish I could make time stand still, just for a little bit.
Just gorgeous, we love the park late too, the magic hour! Adore your boys’ remarks about their Dad! Gorgeous words x
i am so happy that they still love swings! #LivingArrows
