Blogging {real life}

I’ve gone a bit quiet over here recently.  Not really sure why but just kind of lost my mojo it a bit with it all.  The photo wasn’t good enough or I just simply didn’t have much to say…or wasn’t sure how to say what I wanted to say…or I didn’t want to bore you all with the same old, same old.

Anyway!  This Morning I decided to do one of those ‘what’s in my make up bag’ kind of post just to get me going again because I don’t want it to be all about the bois bach and more about my loves etc.  But not forgetting the Bois are my main Loves, so I am going to write about them…but also more about other stuff too.   {That post to follow…hopefully, if the mood takes me…!}.  Then I thought I needed a ‘decent’ photo of me in my said make up.  Which resulted in the above.  Which lead me to this post.  It’s all in the planning, I’m told…again and again…by loads of bloggers out there.  Who are all beautiful, with beautiful blogs, wearing the best clothes, with all gorgeous {and easy, so they say} DIY’s.  Which I absolutely LOVE and read religiously, don’t get me wrong here.  But me and planning?  Nah, not really.

So, whilst the bois were “helping” me with the photos this morning, I was reminded of “real life blogging” and how this is me and this is how it’s going to be around here most of the time.  Yes, I’m going to feature all the stuff I love {mascara, books, clothes {probably from Primark and not straight off the runway…ha!} etc. etc.!}…

…but every now and again I’m going to get photobombed by Alf with Rolly trying to get in on the photo, with Robb wetting himself whilst taking the photo and everywhere else a mess apart from where we are taking the photo.  and do you know what?  I’m more than happy with that.  This is life, it’s real and it’s mine.

  1. I think this is perfectly lovely! I’m a massive planner … always have been, always will. My blog tends to 60 percent planned, 40 percent off the cuff. That seems to work well for me. I never get things as perfect as I want though as everything has to be done around having my two ruffians at home. You can only do your best :) x

    1. Thank you! Working full time you’d think i’d plan this more…but it doesn’t quite work out like that! Although there is pudding in the oven I am hoping to blog about…fingers crossed ;) xxx

  2. Omg. This is amazing. I have a really similar post I started today sitting in drafts. I am feeling the same with my blog. Not enough of the stuff I want on there and too much envy for the beautiful blogs. Love this post.
