Firstly, I’m no make up expert. I’ve only been wearing foundation for the last couple of years or so. Mascara, since forever, but not foundation.
Fast forward a few years, {i.e. I turned 30}, I decided I needed a little help. After a few stops and starts, some wrong decisions and a lot of foundation buying, this is what my make up bag looks like:
Garnier Miracle Skin Protector / Rimmel Live Pink blusher / Wild About Beauty Eye Shadow {which, as you can see, is nearly empty!} / Younique 3D Mascara / Rimmel Scandal Eyes Rockin’ Curves Mascara / Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil / Rimmel Special Eyes Eye Liner.
The thing I love most about my make up is that it takes me no more than 5 minutes to apply…and 3 minutes of that is applying lashing after lashing of mascara ;) A couple of months back, I stopped using powder on top of the Garnier…GAME CHANGER! The powder was making my face look dull…{or maybe I was using the wrong powder, leave a comment if you can recommend one}. So, just a little blusher on top of this and I’m done.
Anyway, it works for me and those ten minutes I have in the morning to get myself ready for work…those pancakes aren’t going to make themselves, are they?!
PS – Ask the girls how many mascara’s fell out of my bag that time I had to empty it going through the airport on our way to Cork…
PPS – Anything else you think I need to have in my make up bag?

I really like the body shop illuminating powder balls for my face, they’re a little shimmery which helps you look glowy and dewy and they’re dead easy to apply literally just wallop a brush-full all over my face!!! also i found that the garnier BB cream can dry the skin a little and also can get the dreaded partial rub off orange brow look in summer, so i only use body shop balls (sounds so dodgy like that) on my face in warmer weather :) if you nip in you can test it out they’re pretty chill about that. Also the younique BB flawless complexion enhancer is a nicer finish BB cream than the garnier one, theres a link on my page if you’re interested x

“I want balls in my face!”…I really hope you’ve watched ‘Bridesmaids’ and know where I’m coming from with that?!!! haa! Thanks for your comments, will look into that body shop powder balls. The Garnier doesn’t dry out my skin though, but hey, it would be boring if we were all the same, wouldn’t it? Will take a look at that link too. Thanks again xx
