It looks a little something like this:
Far too long sitting in traffic queues on our way there…all the windy weather…a visit to Scarborough and walking the Castle Walls…Chocolate Orange Ice Cream…THAT France V Wales Rugby match supping a couple of Guinesses in the caravan…a taster session on Aqua Jets for the bois…falling in love with Whitby…and wanting to return without the bois so we can try out the pubs!…fish and chips, obviously…a quick walk around Dalby forest…Paul taking us back to our car on a shortcut AND we didn’t get lost…just the 4 of us having a kick about with the football, I forgot how much we all enjoy that…a blustery walk along the beach…getting to the top of the lighthouse at Whitby Pier, the views were worth it…stopping off at York on the way home…but not until we’d had a go at trampolining at Energi where I soon realised just how unfit I am…but I can remember how to do a front flip!
I’ve been wanting to have a play with videos for a while now, this weekend seemed like a good time to give it a go. Not quite got the hang of it, but for a first attempt and a bit of help from Robb, I’m quite happy with it. Would love to know what you think of it.
Scarborough Castle under the thick fog.
Reighton Sands Beach right next to where we stayed
The Abbey from Whitby Pier.
Oh I do love to be beside the seaside!
My Everything.
Yorkshire, you were great! See you soon! Low and I are doing the Yorkshire Three Peaks in May! More on that in another post though. It’s just dawned on me that I’ve never camped with my sister before…
These photos are deliciously moody, I love them. What camera do you have?!
These were iPhone pics! And thanks, deliciously moody is now my fave new saying!
I love a visit to the seaside on a blustery day. Chasing and being chased by waves is great fun – I loved the clip of the boys waiting to get splashed :) It looks like you had a fantastic break. Thanks for linking up with #MondayEscapes
seems like an interesting visit:) #mondayescapes
Beautiful – this is exactly the kind of blustery British seaside scenery that I’ve imagined.
