Pump o’r Penwythnos

I’m all about the simple things and simple pleasures right now and it was really nice over the weekend to not have to be up super early to get us all ready to head out somewhere.  With Alf’s footie season at Corwen FC just finished, it was really nice to not have to set an alarm for either morning and to just be at home, taking it a bit slow…even if it was catching up on housework.

Friday Evenings at the Pub

Guinness, my husband and a meat raffle…enough said really.  You can’t help but love the Duds.  But being able to sneak away for a couple of hours is becoming a thing and I like it!

Bloom & Grow

I got myself in a bit of a funk recently so decided there was only one thing for it and that was to book myself on a photography/creativity course I’ve been eyeing up for a while now.  So far, so good.  Looking forward to working through it and seeing where it takes me and my camera, that is never too far away.

Saturday at Llandrillo

Inspiration from the above mentioned course struck…I walked around the village…stopped and chatted with those out and about…saw a friend in the park with her daughter…played, swung on the swings and laughed for an hour…biked around the village again because Spring and all her blooms…before heading home and pouring myself a good ole glass of red.

The Durrells

We had a few episodes to catch up on and it’s been one of my favourite things to do with these bois of my mine.  Us, the telly and all the giggles whilst watching it.

{Larry though?!…He’s ace!}

RhuthunSeasons Photo-Marathon

Do you know what’s nice about the bois being the age they are now?  Being able to decide a bit last minute that yes, I want to go to that thing that is on and just…going.  And that’s what happened on Sunday morning.  With half hour to spare, I got myself ready and off I went to Ruthin.  Ella came along too and we had such a nice morning just wandering around town with our cameras and a hot chocolate, discovering little nooks about the town that we wouldn’t have seen before if it wasn’t for this event that was on.  {I’ll blog more about this in the week}.

Spring is f i n a l l y here and I like it!
